It’s hard for me to pick my favourite song from Playin’ To Win because they’re all so good. It deserves to be heard by everybody!” Beverly Paterson, music writer and reviewer, San Mateo, CA.

“I decided to play guitar and front my own band… then came Jimmy… the greatest singer and drummer I’ve ever met. I love this guy. He’s my hero”. Bobby Walker, guitarist and drummer.

“Can’t wait to see the band this coming Saturday… You guys were great last week-end. I will be there again for sure”. Ed Aris, Las Vegas

Jimmy accepted an offer by BOBBY HATFIELD to replace BILL MEDLEY with the RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS. In the following years, they played major venues such as the Coconut Grove in L.A, sell-out residencies at the Sands Hotel in Las Vegas and many concerts at major Universities throughout the US. They also performed in Hawaii and Japan.

In 1969, they recorded the album “REBIRTH” on which Jimmy also played drums on all the tracks and wrote one of the songs called “Nobody’s Gonna Take Me”. They appeared on several TV shows including GLEN CAMPBELL GOODTIME HOUR, THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS, STEVE ALLEN, JOEY BISHOP and SAM RIDDLE.

“Let me say this from a professional standpoint but the fan will come out. Jimmy’s voice just sends me into orbit. Forgive me for sounding like Judy Jetson but he just knocks you out”. Joyce Conroy, DJ, WHFC, Maryland.
