Accompanying himself on the guitar, he sings the timeless favourite “Annie’s Song”, other classics such as “Rocky Mountain High”, “Leaving On A Jet Plane” and “Take Me Home, Country Roads” and many more.
Unassuming, but self-confident, Ivor, the John Denver Tribute, wins the audience’s attention naturally in much the same way that John Denver did at every emotive performance.
He enchants the listener with the same earthy humour, honesty and charm, projecting a warmth that draws the audience closer as he skilfully shifts from richly orchestrated songs through country rock to captivating ballads pure and clear, one voice, one guitar.
A seasoned performer with a distinctive style, Ivor, the John Denver Tribute, draws upon a wealth of experience gained over many years as a busy and professional musician. He has recorded, appeared live on radio and entertained overseas in Denmark and Germany, where he now lives with his German wife and family. He is most highly regarded for his superb singing voice, an attribute that has earned him an admirable reputation and above all many good friends.
The show is self-contained with its own PA system and audio equipment. It is ideally suited to theatres, although hotels, clubs and other suitable venues will always be considered. The show can be adapted easily, if required, to fit into a programme of your choice, either as a top-billing attraction or a sensational supporting act.
