Mathieu Bolillo has appeared several times, always with Cirque du Soleil, on American television such as CSI Las Vegas, Discovery Channel and on the German channel ARTE.

Mathieu Bolillo has worked with Robert Lepage, a famous play wright, film and stage director from Québec, and creative director/choreographer Jacques Heim, founder of Diavolo Dance theater in Los Angeles.

He recently took a pause from Las Vegas CdS resident production « KA », to dedicate himself to the creation of a new visual circus act totally original, conceived and created by himself.

Mathieu’s new act Cirkolution is then not an attempt by an amateur. it is rather a world unique act, performed by a multi talented soloist of the world’s largest entertainment company.

Mathieu Bolillo has worked very hard and for long time to get to create his new sensational act. This is an acrobatic/artistic act presented, created, choreographed by himself.

His gymnastic background, his Cirque du Soleil experience and his personality make him one of those special artistes you really want to work with!

Cirque du Soleil (English: Circus of the Sun) is a Canadian entertainment company, self-described as a “dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment.” Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and located in the inner-city area of Saint-Michel, it was founded in Baie-Saint-Paul in 1984 by two former street performers, Guy Laliberté and Gilles Ste-Croix.

Each show is a synthesis of circus styles from around the world, with its own central theme and storyline. Shows employ continuous live music, with performers rather than stagehands changing the props. After financial successes and failures in the late 1980s, Nouvelle Expérience was created – with the direction of Franco Dragone – which not only made Cirque du Soleil profitable by 1990, but allowed it to create new shows.
