Nile Jordan Vocal entertainer North West UK
“Nile Jordan started in the music industry at the very tender age of 13 playing guitar in Sefton Youth Jazz Orchestra, being noticed then by a famous trumpeter named Digby Fairweather, who gave him the honour of playing along side him and his partner Stan Barker on the theatre circuit in the North West.
When Nile Jordan was 15 he played with his parents in a family band touring the holiday camps and club land in and around the Merseyside and Lancashire area but this time I also gave backing vocals.
Whilst getting accepted into Liverpool Music College at the age of 16, I gained a wealth of knowledge not only in theory but practical experience. This opened the door for him to sing and play with lots of Liverpool bands as a stand-in session singer/musician.
A few years back, after making contacts overseas in Northern Ontario, I travelled to Canada for 9 months touring with a company and getting to meet and jam with the likes of Lone Star and Brian White, who performed with Shania Twain.
After touring venues with the likes of The Detroits and as a solo guitar vocalist for the last 10 years – covering an array of styles, from Elvis Presley, Boyzone to Michael Buble – he recently caught the attention of Radio Merseyside’s Billy Butler and Norman Thomas who, through public demand, interviewed him, talking and reviewing his new cd featuring the song ‘If you’re not the one.’ (Quoted by Bobby Socks, saying; ‘A dynamic and challenging main vocal complemented by an ultra high harmony, Best voice I’ve heard in years’).
Recently Nile Jordan was asked to be featured on a track called “Memories” by rap artist ‘Stock’ whose last song was featured in the movie ‘White Chicks’, who is a recent signing to Sony Urban.
Nile’s recent venture was to sing at RAF Shawbury in the presence of our future King, Prince William. Also he returned from Peru in January singing at prestigious venues in (Lima the capital) and Ika in the south. In the last 5 months, Nile Jordan has had the pleasure of working in the Caribbean and Balearics touring throughout Thomson Platinum Hotels and Holiday Resorts.
His background work includes contracts with ring-tone and jingle companies recording vocals and guitar.
As a vocal coach Nile Jordan works for a company called Vocal Tutor who have provided services to the BBC, Channel 4 and Sky TV, including coaching people such as Alexander O’Neal, Curtis Stigers etc.
Over the years Nile Jordan has taken acting roles in TV, including a part in ‘Nice Guy Eddy’ featuring Ricky Tomlinson.”
