You can catch Sherry Kennedy in her home town of Calgary, Alberta, Canada on August 4th 2013 at the inaugural Calgary International Blues Festival!
In a career spanning more than 30 years, Sherry Kennedy’s credits include performances for stage, film and television, including high profile events across Canada, into the US and Europe. The new album – recorded in Nashville – Little Secret. UK Tour 2013 now available.
In addition to her live performances, Sherry’s voice is heard on radio in the cd collections of music-lovers in more than a dozen countries.
Artist Sherry Kennedy is based in Calgary, Alberta Canada. In addition to being an accomplished painter, Sherry is a professional singer, performer, recording artist and vocal coach.
A wide variety of music fuels her creativity, including classical, jazz, blues, musical theatre, hip hop, contemporary, alternative, rock, folk, country and even movie soundtracks.
In recent years, Sherry has been involved in a number of fundraising events that raised tens of thousands of dollars for organizations such as the Canadian Cancer Society, Veterans’ and the Families of the Veterans, Inn from the Cold and the ALS Society.
In addition to contributing to special events as a performer, a visual artist and show producer, Sherry has hosted her own events to raise funds for The Healing Art of Music.
Sherry Kennedy has a a foundation called The Healing Art of Music and she likes to help young and old to experience their dream of doing music and art! either with lessons, books, or food whatever the student or individual is in need of.
