Steve McCoy | The Real Mccoy | World’s Greatest Tom Jones Impersonator
Growing up in New Jersey Steve McCoy spent his childhood organizing performances for the neighborhood kids, arranging bands, even rigging theatrical equipment to pull off his own special effects in his basement.
“It’s in his blood”! In 1989 he entered a Tom Jones look-a-like contest where Sir Tom Jones himself was the judge. He won first prize, which then lead him to Las Vegas, NV.
Steve McCoy has been a mainstay on the Las Vegas strip for the past twenty years.
He started in the award winning show “Legends In Concert” and today is producer and owner of his own production company “THE REAL MCCOY LLC” as well as manager to a few young artists.
Steve McCoy has been working with a very talented young artist from American Idol, Lou Gazzara, also from South Jersey.
“This is what it’s really all about,… given back. God has blessed me time, and time again, by allowing me to live my dream. I feel if I can help other talented performer’s dream come true, and get them to touch others through music.”

Steve McCoy has performed as
Tom Jones in theaters and nightclubs throughout the United States as well as the world; in cities such as Berlin, Beirut, Thailand, Indonesia, Moscow, Stockholm and London. “It’s a long way from my hometown, but man what a blast I’ve met a lot of great people and have seen a lot of great things.” says McCoy. “This is all I ever wanted to do. And the proof, “Anything you want, anything. If you put your mind to it, and you truly believe in it… will come true”!
Recently while performing in Las Vegas, Tom Jones personally brought Steve up to the stage and introduced him by saying; “He’s the best I’ve ever seen…he does me better than me!”…High praise indeed!
