Accomplished singer Steve has been performing his unique show for several years to audiences around the world.
Steve Simone has completed many successful cruises on board the Island Star & Island Escape for Island Cruises and Ocean Majesty.
Steve, who was raised in Long Island New York, found his ear for music at the age of 9 and has been fortunate to work with some of the most prominent stars in the music world. These include Janet Jackson, Gloria Estafan, MC Hammer and Snap. Steve has appeared on television many times.
Steve has done a lot of work with charity groups such as Barnardos, Children In Need and also performed at a fundraiser for the Special Olympics in Wicklow where he appeared with Ronnie Drew of The Dubliners.
His extensive repertoire ranges from Soul and Motown to Jazz and Rock. In 1997 he had the honour of singing for Donald Woods, the author of the Oscar nominated ‘Cry Freedom’.
The Show: Steve presents a detailed look at Soul and Motown where he explains the story of Soul and the driving force behind the music as well as giving a sparkling rendition of Soul classics.
Soul from Stax, Atlantic and of course Motown, featuring such artists as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Jimmy Ruffin, Four Tops, Temptations and many more – with his unique style and presence.
