John Cross the original lead singer and bass player, decided to reform Strawberry Fayre to bring back the fabulous sounds of that era. The band now consists of four experienced musicians and, with three of them singing lead vocals and four part harmonies featuring throughout their performance, this leads to an excellent night of entertainment.
Strawberry Fayre are now performing live, two shows each night, at holiday parks, outside events and venues, throughout the UK.
The band provide a large PA system with a great sound powerful enough for even for the biggest venues and events which, combined with their own light show, their musical and vocal talents, and their first class performance in matching suits, results in an excellent show experience.

Sounds of the Seventies was a BBC radio programme broadcast on weekdays, 22:00-00:00, on Radio One during the early 1970s. Among the DJs were Alan Black, Pete Drummond, Anne Nightingale, John Peel (who alone had two shows per week), and Bob Harris.
For contractual reasons one of Peel’s two weekly shows was known as Top Gear, but the format and content of the show on every weekday were in essence identical for most of the early 1970s.
