Vermonts | Wedding Band | Party Entertainment | Buxton | Derbyshire
Originally a 6-piece band formed in 2006 as a surprise for a family wedding.
“The Wedding Crashers” played a one-off performance of just 8 songs for their friends and family. It was a well kept secret and as all the band members were from within the family nobody guessed who the band could be.
Nothing happened for a year and a half after the wedding until someone said “That was fun! Let’s do it some more!” Two female supporting singers joined who also came from within the family and “The Party Crashers” were formed.
Very quickly getting booked up for parties and local clubs, The Party Crashers became a popular band on the club and function circuit with re bookings confirming their ability to get the room dancing.
A few years on… with new supporting singers and reflecting on feedback received from our audiences, the band members decided it was time to move forward.
The name no longer fit the 7-piece Motown and Rock n Roll performers, so the band became… The Vermonts.
