When people think of traditional Scottish
Music they usually imagine the sound of pipes, accordions and fiddles playing reels
and soulful laments.
While
this is still true it's not the only music being performed by Scottish musicians
today. Now there is the sound of
FOURGOODMEN, the latest manifestation
of Celtic Song.
What
make FOURGOODMEN
unique is their personnel. All are original members of major Scottish bands who
enjoyed huge success in the 80's and 90's.
Derek Forbes: Simple Minds,
Ian Donaldson: H2O,
Bruce Watson: Big Country
and Mick MacNeil also from Simple
Minds. Between them they've
had almost 60 top 40 singles and 20 top 10 albums 8 of them number 1's. Total
records sold to date 40,000,000.
Now, in the 21st Century they have come together to perform their hits.
Songs that became the soundtrack for the lives of a generation -worldwide.
