Hannah Northedge is a sultry songstress of old fashioned glamour and bandleader of her own ensembles. She is a classically trained singer and is in high demand with her Vamp of Savannah Jazz ensembles that include some of the most skilled jazz musicians in the UK. Hannah holds residencies at Smollensky's restaurants in London and Surrey, The Piano Lounge in Epping, Booty's Riverside Jazz Bar in Limehouse, Volupte Lounge and Mackenzie's Cafe Bar in West Malling, Kent.

She made a very successful appearance at Greenwich Jazz Festival and has been invited back. She has also been booked to play at Mill Hill and Harborough Jazz Club and has received record label interest from The Jazz radio station. She will be releasing an album of uniquely arranged standards and her own original compositions with a country jazz flavour. Hannah frequently performs with Shane Hill who is reputed to be one of the best Jazz guitarists in the UK.

Hannah also works with these exceptionally talented pianists: Christian Vaughan studied jazz at the Royal Academy of Music and has played alongside Ray Gelato, Larry Adler, Bobby Wellins, Tony Remy and Stacey Kent amongst others. Simon Wallace has played with and produced a new album with singer Sarah Moule and has 2 cds out on Linn records featuring some of the songs he has written with veteran lyricist and beat generation survivor Fran Landesman. For this swinging threesome Hannah employs the virtuoso skills of Matt (The Ridler) Ridley on bass.

Matt regularly tours the UK as part of the Rat Pack Trio orchestra and as a West End musician most recently for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Hannah regularly employs the talents of John Blease on drums to form a quartet. Hannah can augment her band to encompass percussion, saxophone (Sam Walker, Matt Telfer), flute, gypsy jazz violin (Kit Massey), trumpet (Dick Pearce), harmonica (Adam Glasser).

She will tailor the musical ingredients to suit a client’s specific requirements. Hannah would be an up market and sophisticated choice of entertainment with any of the above musical combinations. Vamp of Savannah Jazz is available for weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate events, Masonic and private functions, parties, themed events (1920s, 1930, 1940s, World War II, cabaret), festivals, hotels, RAF parties, restaurants and jazz clubs.
