Loungecore: My name is Yan. I arrange and play bass in a Liverpool based project called LoungeCore. We play Jazz versions of Rock & Pop from classics to current hits. ("Made rock & pop listeners enjoy jazz." "Gave the jazzers a good laugh." "Most people found us entertaining")  This is a 3 year old project. I play with a rotation a jazz musicians from young 20's to players with 30 yrs experience. We are a 6-piece band but we have been going out as a smaller band to fit different budgets and spaces.  Last year we have been gigging regularly at Pan Am, Alma de Cuba, Gusto(new years eve), Modo in Liverpool and some private functions.
