"When the Spice Girls burst onto the scene with Wannabe back in 1996, I was immediately being called Scary Spice at school by all the boys..!! This led to a bit of bullying from the girls.  Although being a tough girl I still came home upset about it one night. My Dad decided to send my picture off the next day to The Sun newspaper, they had made a plea for look-alikes to come forward. The Sun loved the picture and it was published amongst other look-alikes on a Spice Girls spread. This generated local interest and my local paper also covered a story on me. My local Sainsbury's saw the story and contacted me to help them with a Charity event they were holding. This was where the look-alike work all began for me."

"I outshone the other Scary look-alikes by a mile as I danced like her to a T. Being so young and fascinated by Girl Power I spent all my spare time watching video after video of Mel, pausing rewinding until I perfected her dancing technique and it became second nature. I can now jump up on stage and dance like Mel B to any song, Spice hit or Madonna hit!"
