Melissa Totten has been performing as Madonna since 1992.  It started as a dare from the Public Relations Director of Columbia College Chicago where Melissa earned a degree with honours in Advertising.  An independent studies project sent her from classroom to cruise ship, performing for six months on Royal Caribbean's Viking Serenade in a Las Vegas style revue show.

Over the years, Melissa Totten has travelled worldwide, touring Korea, Ireland, Germany, Australia, Thailand, India, Japan, Greece, New Caledonia, Turkey, Switzerland, Spain, Singapore and Mexico as well as countless cities in the U.S.  Melissa performed with the acclaimed Legends In Concert for many years and is a regular cast member in Bernhard Kurz's Stars In Concert in Berlin.

Melissa has won favourable reviews for her onstage resemblance to Madonna, both physically and vocally.  Madonna is an ever-changing personality and Melissa takes that challenge and creates a dynamic review of Madonna's career by adding quick changes and quick wit.

In addition to large production shows, Melissa has also taken a more intimate approach to Madonna's expansive body of work with an acoustic tribute.  With one guitar, or with a whole band, the songs are deconstructed, dance hits become ballads and anything goes in this relaxed, off the cuff presentation.
