I grew up on the Isle of Bute on the west coast of Scotland where there are strong piping traditions. I have built up a wide- ranging repertoire of traditional and contemporary pipe music since I began playing a number of years ago.

When I moved to Sussex I joined the Eastbourne Scottish pipe band and over the years have played with them at the Fairfield Hall Croydon and the Guild Hall, Preston among others and more recently with The Band of the Royal Engineers at Firle Park Sussex during the Millennium celebrations.

We played at Herstmonceux Castle Sussex with The Band of the Lifeguards in 1999 and The Band of the Parachute Regiment in 2003 -  both times in front of Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant of East Sussex. I am also a member of Gatwick Caledonian Pipes and Drums we compete in various competitions at grade 4.

I came in 1st place in the Solo Amateur March competition at the English Championships at Knebworth 2003 on a very wet day.

I am available to play my pipes at weddings, birthday parties, celebrations, corporate functions, funerals or other. My tartans are Hunting Stewart- dark green, Lamont-blue green or Ancient Caledonian-red.

Wedding Services

Service A
Pipe outside the church while the guests arrive.
Pipe the Bride up to the church.
At the end of the ceremony pipe as people leave the church.
Be available for photos

Service B
All of A plus.
Pipe for the guests Bride and Groom as they arrive at the reception venue.
Play while the guests move down the receiving line and finally pipe the Bride and Groom to their seats for the wedding breakfast.

Service C
All of A and B plus.
Be available throughout the day and evening and pipe as required
