The Myna Morgans - an evolution.: Sometime in the early years of the 21st century somewhere in the suburbs of Brighton in the county of East Sussex, England it is thought a child dropped a Major Morgan ™ – a 1980s educational musical toy - through the bars of the cage of his very lonely sound mimicking pet Myna bird. What subsequently occurred has been the subject of much speculation ever since. However, what is known that very soon after the incident unfounded reports began to surface of a band of slightly plasticized strutting individuals with a disposition to make music. Characteristics arguably attributed to many a pop rock combo, what set these mavericks apart from their peers was a seemingly innate ability to replicate on request any number of songs from the cannon of popular music. And so was born…
The Myna Morgans. Performing an eclectic selection of cover versions ranging from swing standards through to raucous rock'n'roll and present day pop. The Myna Morgans are highly regarded for their ability to switch effortlessly between style and genre. Taking in a slab of soul, funk and Motown along the way, their passionate, playful and sometimes irreverent take on classic hits have become the soundtrack to many a shindig nationwide including wedding receptions, corporate functions and private parties.
The Myna Morgans are also available as a piano duo.

Jack Johnson's song for our first dance - it was amazing. I know

‘George and Robin, who form The Myna Morgans, have been playing
on a monthly basis for us for about two years. Every time they perform
I can guarantee a brilliant night for our customers and a fully
booked restaurant! We receive the most compliments when these two
perform. We have a repertoire of about 30 different musicians and
they are the favourites every time! The best nights we have had
has been when they have played - you can bet the customers will
be singing, interacting, dancing and asking for their favourite
music requests before the night is through. They perform every cover
beautifully. George has an amazing voice and Robin plays any and
every song faultlessly. They create a unique atmosphere that I was
looking for when I opened my venue, they really are that brilliant!’
Amanda Jones, proprietor, Mint Restaurant and Music Bar, Brighton
‘Thank you for playing at our wedding you were
absolutely fantastic. All our friends and family thought you were
great! Also, we appreciate that you learnt the song to our first
dance - which you played brilliantly. Sorry about my terrible singing
but I did enjoy myself!’ Sally & Hector - Wedding
