Rave On 60s party band has played theatres, holiday camps, dinner dances, outside events and corporate events and of course clubs. They play at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool on a regular basis and have played lots of other venues all over the country. Venues include Warner, Pontins and Haven.
This is a four piece band playing hits from the late 50’s to the 70’s which even today are still popular. They have played alongside artistes such as P.J.Proby, Marty Wilde, James Burton (lead guitarist with Elvis) Little and Large, Daniel O’Donnell, Jimmy Cricket, Pete Best (drummer with The Beatles), The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Searchers, The Merseybeats, Mud, Sweet, The Fortunes and many more.
They have also appeared on TV and recently for the late Duke of Westminster at his stately home. All the members of the band are very talented and have great personalities. There are “three lead vocalists” which is quite unique.
Rave On – 60s Party Band
They take the lead vocal in turn which makes for an entertaining show. All are exceptional musicians and all very professional. The drummer has been with the band since he was 11 and is one of the best you will ever see.
The band comes with a large P.A. system with a great sound and their own light show. They all wear matching suits and perform two x one hour shows, which seems to fill the requirements of most venues adequately.
Rave On pride themselves on arriving on time and are very smart at all times and have stage clothes for on and off stage in between spots. They also have public liability insurance and a P.A.T. certificate for all their equipment.
